Software built around
how you work

Web applications, automation, integrations and internal tools for businesses anywhere, built online in stages. Describe what you need and get a clear written quote.

Software for the way your business works

Ready-made software fits many businesses well. Sometimes, though, a team ends up copying data between spreadsheets, re-typing orders into another system, or working around a tool that does not match how the business really runs. That is where custom software can help, and sometimes the right answer is a small change to what you already use. The aim is software that saves time every week and is simple enough for your team to use without long training.

What we build

  • Web applications that run in a browser, on a computer or a phone
  • Automation for repetitive tasks such as reports, emails and data entry
  • Integrations that connect the systems you already use through their APIs
  • Internal tools and dashboards for your team
  • Maintenance and support for software after launch

How the work is done

Projects start with understanding the problem, not the technology. We ask how the work is done today, who will use the software and what a good result looks like, then send a written proposal. The software is built in stages, so you can try each part and give feedback before the next one begins. Small, working pieces early are usually safer than one large delivery at the end.

Built to be handed over

Your data and your code should not be locked away. Software is delivered with documentation, access details and the source code, as agreed in the proposal. Personal information is handled with Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) in mind, and backups and security updates are planned from the start.

How it works

From first message to finished job

  1. Call and brief

Tell us what the problem is, who will use the software and what you use today.

  2. Written proposal and quote

We send a written proposal with the scope, the stages, an estimated schedule and the price.

  3. Build in stages

Each stage ends with a working part for you to try and review before the next begins.

  4. Launch and support

The software goes live with documentation, access details and an agreed plan for support.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do I need custom software, or will an existing product do?

Often an existing product, or a small integration between tools you already use, is the simpler choice. We look at your process first and will say so if custom software is not worth it. Custom software makes most sense when your way of working does not fit ready-made tools.

How long does a software project take?

It depends on the scope, the number of systems involved and how quickly decisions and feedback come back. A small automation may take days; a web application usually takes weeks to months. The work is split into stages, and the proposal gives an estimate for each one.

Who owns the code?

Ownership of the code and the data is set out in the written proposal before work begins. The usual plan is that you receive the source code, access to the systems and the documentation at handover. If you have specific requirements, mention them early.

Can you work with the systems we already use?

Often, yes, if those systems offer an API or a way to import and export data. We check this before quoting, because what each system allows affects the approach and the cost.

How is our data kept safe?

Access is limited by role, connections are encrypted, and data is backed up regularly. Personal information is handled with Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) in mind, and the software collects only what it needs. Where the data is hosted is agreed with you in the proposal.
